schedule
Each day of the workshop has two sessions, the morning begins
at 9:00 and ends at 11:30. This is followed by lunch and a
siesta.The afternoon session begins at 2:30 and goes to 5:00.
Dinner is next, then a short critique at 7:00, where we review
the day’s work and discuss the process of color seeing and
painting.

Three
short books are recommended for reading before the workshop: Hawthorne
On Painting; Hensche On
Painting, both available through Dover Publications
and The Art Of Color Seeing, by
Chuck Ceraso, which is available through Chuck’s website:
www.chuckceraso.com. It can be downloaded as an ebook or
purchased hard copy.
packages
Each package includes the workshop fee, lodging and three
meals a day.
Casitas:
Bare bones adobe buildings, a step above
camping. Bunk beds, must bring own sleeping bags,
linens and towels.
Located in one of
the most beautiful areas of the ranch. Neighboring
bathhouse.
Dorms:
Summer camp-style rooms. Bunk & twin beds, bathroom and
showers outside the room, down a covered porch. Linens
and towels are provided.
Private
Bath on Mesa: Very nice rooms with twin
and or double beds and private bathroom. Linens and towels
provided.
The casitas and dorms
are basic, no frills, but clean and comfortable.
