Plein
Air Workshop in Italy!
May
8 to 21, 2012
14 days total: 4
days in Rome,
and
10 days in the Tuscan countryside
outside of Florence!
Join Chuck for plein air painting in
any medium. The focus will be on letting
go of
fear and judgment and using color to
depict light, form and atmosphere, and of
course, on embracing the magic of the
culture and rhythm.
Rome
Arrive in Rome where
we will stay in the heart of the eternal
city, strolling
the piazzas by evening and taking in the
sights, both ancient and modern, by day.
You will have the opportunity to
appreciate the visual beauty of this city
along the Tiber, its monumental wonders as
well as its amazing art.

Near Florence
Paint the countryside
with its vineyards, cypress trees, villas
and hills. Rent a bike
and tour the countryside, hike or enjoy
the grounds of the villa where we'll be
staying, go for a swim or hop into town
(35 minutes by bus) to dine and stroll in
Florence. See the Uffizi Gallery, visit
David in the Accademia, be awestruck by
the
Piti Palace or simply enjoy the street
scenes, the markets and the architecture
of
this fascinating city.
